Taisha Crayton is a nationally recognized executive, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of experience converting complex challenges into scalable strategies, stronger institutions, and measurable economic outcomes across higher education, government, construction, and the private sector. As Founder and Principal of Notyarc Management Group, she advises organizations on growth, operational performance, strategic partnerships, and inclusive economic development, bringing vision, discipline, and execution to high stakes initiatives.
Before returning her full focus to Notyarc Management Group, Taisha served as the inaugural Director of the Office for Economic Inclusion & Diversity at Harvard University. In this pioneering role, she designed and launched the University’s first comprehensive inclusive procurement framework, expanding pathways for small, local, and diverse businesses across Harvard’s 15 schools and affiliated operations. Within an institution representing more than $4 billion in annual expenditures, she built strategic initiatives, performance measurement systems, and cross functional partnerships that strengthened supplier participation, increased accountability, and positioned inclusive procurement as a driver of institutional and community value.
Previously, Taisha held executive leadership roles with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), directing contractor certification, access and opportunity, and compliance initiatives across the state’s public construction portfolio. Her work strengthened procurement practices, improved operational processes, and expanded participation in complex public sector projects, advancing both performance and equitable access to opportunity.
Taisha’s strategic perspective is grounded in firsthand entrepreneurial experience. She founded and scaled a property services and construction management company into a multimillion dollar enterprise, gaining deep expertise in business development, operational design, financial stewardship, risk management, and sustainable growth. That experience informs her ability to connect executive strategy with the realities of implementation, resource allocation, and organizational performance.
Her commitment to economic mobility is equally evident in her work as Co-Creator of Bridge 2 Trades, a workforce development initiative connecting young people to careers in the skilled trades. She has led program design, strategic partnerships, and operational execution to expand access to career pathways, strengthen employer connections, and create durable routes to economic opportunity.
Throughout her career, Taisha has partnered with corporations, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders to align business objectives with broader economic outcomes. Her expertise includes strategic planning, organizational development, workforce innovation, supplier engagement, stakeholder relations, performance management, and complex program execution.
Taisha holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Northeastern University and has completed executive business education at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and has served on boards and advisory committees focused on business development, community advancement, and economic opportunity.
An author and advocate for entrepreneurship and personal empowerment, Taisha wrote Build Your Own Way: Demolish Barriers and Discover the Power of You, drawing on her experience overcoming adversity, building successful enterprises, and helping others recognize their capacity to lead and create.
Through Notyarc Management Group, Taisha continues to help organizations sharpen strategy, strengthen operations, build high value partnerships, and translate ambition into lasting results.
